The President (Prof Luc Deliens). The President is Chair of the PHPCI Council and represents the interests of the organization as a whole. The President is first contact for other international or national organisations in palliative care. Please contact the President if you represent a national or international palliative care organization wishing to have a formal reciprocal affiliation agreement with PHPCI.
The Vice-President (Dr Kerrie Noonan). The Vice-President deputizes for the President in all Council and public functions. The Vice-President may represent the Council on particular policy, educational, accreditation, or research matters important to Council or its membership. Please contact the Vice-President if you have enquiries about sponsorship, advertising, conference development, or funding possibilities.
The Treasurer (Emma Hodges) is the principal financial officer for PHPCI and oversees the budgetary position of the association. Please contact the Treasurer if you have enquiries about taxation, outstanding invoices, or related financial matters.
The Membership Secretary (Saif Mohammed) is responsible for setting and regulating membership fees and for fielding all enquiries regarding membership of PHPCI. Members and non-members should direct their enquiries about membership fees and entitlements to the Membership Secretary.
Communications and social media (Elizabeth Johnson) is responsible for the creation, design, updating, revision, and maintenance of the PHPCI website. If you have any enquiries about errors, additions, or revisions to the website, these suggestions (which are usually subject to Council approval) should be directed to our Coms person.
The Conference Representative is the go-to-person for all information concerning the upcoming International Conference for PHPCI. These conferences occur every two years. All delegate, advertising, and sponsorship enquiries should be directed to the Conference Representative.
The Postgraduate Representative is the person responsible for the development of events, facilities or services on behalf of postgraduates or early career members of PHPCI. Any enquiries from and for postgraduates or early career palliative care colleagues should be directed to this post.
